What MP4 is
The Metropolitan Paediatric Level 4 Conference is a one-day forum for the teams who care for babies and children in Level 4 and Level 5 hospitals, on paediatric wards and in neonatal units outside the tertiary children's hospitals.
The day is built around shared practice: complex cases talked through openly, evidence-based care, and the working relationships between local services and their tertiary colleagues. In 2027 it moves south to Wollongong.

- Nursing Paediatric and neonatal nursing teams, including NUMs, CNCs and CNEs.
- Allied health and tertiary colleagues Allied health teams, alongside clinicians from the tertiary children's hospitals.

- Wollongong Station is about 800 m away, roughly a 9-minute walk.
- By free shuttle
- The Gong Shuttle (routes 55A and 55C) runs from Wollongong Station every 10 to 20 minutes and stops outside the hospital on Crown Street.
- By car
- Free street parking nearby is scarce and time-limited. Paid parking is available in the car park off Dudley Street.
